Cargill today announced the purchase of a 400-hectare site on the island of Urubuéua, Pará, where it will build its largest bulk cargo terminal in handling capacity. The island is located in the region of Barcarena, which has gained importance in recent years with the arrival of tradings and the flow of grain harvest. The cost of the port is estimated at R $ 700 million.
