- Soybeans represent 6.3% of Brazil's GDP; 2023 crop estimated at R$691 billion (US$ 141 billion).
- Soy should account for 30% of the Gross Value of Production of Brazilian agriculture. With the perspective of a record harvest, oilseed should be responsible for moving more than R$ 368 billion in 2023.
- In 30 years, soybean production in Brazil increased by 557%
Comparison of data from the 1992/93 harvest with the current one shows the evolution of area, production and grain productivity in the country. - Brazil produces more than a third of all soy consumed in the world. Brazilians are the largest grain producers on the planet.
- 67.4% of exported Brazilian soybeans are transported by highways, 24% by railroads and 8.6% by waterways.
- The largest soy producers in Brazil are Mato Grosso, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul and Goiás.
