Tomorrow work will begin on three sections of the Norte-Sul in the State of Goiás. Beginning in Uruaçu (240km north of the capital - Goiania) and continuing North to the Tocantins Stateline for a total of 198km of new track. The Anápolis to Uruaçu (318km) is under construction and is nearing completion. Once finished the Norte-Sul will connect Belem, PA to the Port of Santos in São Paulo State.
