New Feedlot Operation
The first cattle feedlot project
in the region of Northern Mato Grosso is being establish in Sinop by Alto
Ponto company. The investment will be approximately R$ 5 million
(US$ 2.4 million). The feedlot will have an area of 1,500 ha (3,600
ac). The project expects to have 18,000 head by May and will have fatten
40,000 head by October.
