 A typical festival organized by The Our Lady of
Fatima Parish of Lucas do Rio Verde. Already in its 11th
edition and usually occurs in mid-November.
Traditionally, the event is open on Thursday, with the
implementation of a Dinner of the Nations with typical
German cuisine and other ethnic groups that comprise the
local community, followed by a lively Polka dance bands that
often play at festivals like those in Southern Brazil.
There is also the meeting of the Best Age Club (over 50) at
a honored matinee, which usually takes place on Friday after
a delicious lunch.
The Grand Chopp Dance (the draft beer dance) is the major
attraction on Saturday. Each year it attracts more visitors
from various municipalities in the region.
