Some Examples of land cost in different regions of
the State |
|
|
Average prices. Will vary
depending on infrastructure (nearness to hard surface roads, city,
electricity, water availability, soils, time underdevelopment). In general,
land in the southern part of the State is more expensive and crops intensive.
Northern region cattle raising.
NOTE: In Southern Brazil, cost per hectare is
approximately R$25,8100 (US$4,644 p/acre) while in the more remote North of
Brazil land can be purchased for R$14.00 p/hectare (US$ 3.00 p/acre). This
cheap land may well have documentation problems and for sure is completely
undeveloped and very far from civilization and can only be reached by
private plane, riverboat and maybe by road. |
