MAGALHAES, BRAZIL—They may not think of themselves as agents of
globalization, but an adventurous cluster of American farmers living
in or near this booming town are evidence that some in the United
States would rather join in the big opportunities flowing from
Brazil's rapid rise as a global agricultural power than rail against
it.
